There’s going to be some cast changes in the film due to some unforeseen circumstances that were out of everybody’s control. This has not at all affected the time line in filming, only a few of the cast members that were previously selected, who committed to the film prior. Due to job related issues, Krys Perez and Michael Greenway were unable to commit to filming in December, so they have been re-cast with new actors. From my understanding, Michael Greenway has decided not to do adult work any longer. There was the option of postponing filming until January to include Krys, however Krys was unable to commit 100% and I don’t want to put this off for one more minute as I’ve had to constantly make adjustments to the time-line since June of this year. The show must go on… There are also issues surrounding Philippe Delvaux appearing in the film as well, but we are currently in talks with attorneys and immigration to see what our options are. It would break both mine and Philippe’s heart if he’s unable to play his role in Twinklight, so know that we are both doing everything in our power to ensure his involvement. There are some new 2257 regulations in place as well as immigration laws that may prevent him from coming in, but only time will tell. In the event Philippe is not able to be in Twinklight, I have every intention of working with him when it’s legally possible whether it’s the sequel or another project, if he’s available and interested of course. Lastly, Turk Mason (formerly Turk Melrose how I knew him) may not be able to appear due to scheduling conflicts as well. His schedule only allows him to be filmed first part of January, and I’m unsure I can accommodate his request. I want this film completed by the end of the year. The official cast won’t be posted until filming has commenced. We all know at times actors get cast, who change their minds last minute, cancel out, etc. so rather than keep releasing new cast lists, I will keep the final cast to myself until it’s on film 😉 I know everybody is anticipating the release of this film, so I just want to keep everybody up to speed with what’s going on. My crew and myself are working very hard on the sets, pre-production and are eagerly awaiting it’s completion. Filming officially commences on December 13, 2009 running through the 21st. Twinklight may not just be the best work I’ve released to date, but might end up being the best gay hardcore release this year if not ever. I’m filming with a new style and equipment that will make this the closest thing to film I’ve ever shot. Some of the test shots have been amazing, which I’ll share with you soon. More to come soon, cheers. Afton
