…to a fun Benefit for the Castro Country Club …. The Castro Country Club is a program of Baker Places, a nonprofit corporation providing an array of community-based services to residents of San Francisco with mental health, substance abuse and/or HIV/AIDS-related issues. Since it first opened its doors in April 1983, the Castro Country Club has helped countless people achieve sobriety by providing a safe refuge for people in recovery to help each other. A touchstone for LGBT sober people in the heart of San Francisco’s Castro neighborhood, the volunteer-based Club operates an espresso and Internet café with two meeting rooms, a lounge and patio open to the public from early morning until late at night, 365 days a year. Hundreds of people attend over thirty self-governing 12-step groups each week including: Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Crystal Meth Anonymous and more… SATURDAY FEBRUARY 5TH SATURDAY FEBRUARY 5TH   …adding to post a plug for a movie that I had nothing to do with and get no kickback from… …SMILING…:)
